Silly Saturday ...

... Lake Towhee campers!?!

As our outing today Richard suggested going back to Lake Towhee as he'd read that there was some nice bird sightings there recently.  It's only about 35 minutes from home so that's where we went after lunch.   

When we drove into the parking lot we were surprised to see a small group of tents set up!  We are assuming this is some sort of scouting troop but keep in mind that the overnight temps have been down right frigid!  What a silly, silly group!  My picture shows the main group smartly sitting around a fire with an inserted photo in upper left of just some of the tents set up nearby. 

We had a nice walk along the shore of the lake before sitting in the bird blind that overlooks part of the lake.   We didn't stay long as it was simply too cold.  I hope the above campers stayed warmer than we did!
