A mourning dove at Shubie Park this afternoon.
Now that the gardening season has ended it's time to start walking again. It was a sunny afternoon so I decided to stop at Shubie Park on my way home from brunch. Lots of chickadees and squirrels, plus I saw a white breasted nuthatch, a couple of juncos and a pair of mourning doves. Only one of them sat still and posed for a photo.
I'm looking forward to having some time off so I can go for walks during the day. I'll have time to get out and take photos too, instead of a few quick ones from various gardens.
I'm even looking forward to getting out to some of the Christmas events that are coming up. A friend of mine has invited me to go to a couple of local concerts with her.  Plus there are other events happening, and going driving around to see the Christmas lights.
