Rain and Yaris

Not the best day for driving

Walked Fletch round the woods then set off to Penrith. The plan had been to stop for coffee  and cake at Cafe Ambio but the rain was torrential and we decided to press on. Considering I was in an unfamiliar car it wasnt too bad. The little Yaris performed well. 

As we passed Tebay the rain eased off and so we stopped at Westmorland service station which is one of the best. Set in lovely surroundings with fantastic views from the cafe. I took a test shot with the phone and was going to move  to take another but all the seats at the window were taken, so all I have is this quick blip.
Arrived at Penrith to find the Rav all ready.. In fact it had been waiting since 1:  30. 

A stroll round the neighbourhood, partly for Fletch to stretch his legs and also for me.

Verdict on the Yaris: Not a bad little car . Performed well. Seats a bit firm and the boot is small so not for us.
