Grim's Ditch
An afternoon walk starting from Nuffield in south Oxfordshire. The line of beech trees on the right run along the top of Grim's Ditch (or Dyke) a 30 kilometre long Iron Age earthwork with Grimsdyke Cottage in the distance. I've walked here before. For some reason it spooks the spaniel. He will not walk down, along or anywhere near Grim's Ditch. So we have to make a 90 degree turn here and cross the fields away from the Ditch to calm him down. Lots of Red Kites soaring around the valley.
Mrs. L arrived from Sussex, satisfied that everything has been thoroughly cleaned for the new owners. Completion tomorrow.
