The Portly Pigeon & I
Helicopter or fascinator!? You, decide.
This rather porky pig (not PIG, well could be) was sizing me up this morning as I left for a day behind my desk at the Office. Whilst there, I munched on a few muffins, a couple of cookies, one or two caramel/ oats/ chocolate tid bits, & so I knew it was time to get my running shoes back on & get my lazy kaboose outside. Thankfully my foot appears to have made a miraculous, three-week, recovery. Miracles do happen (sarcasm mode off)
It was spitting as I stepped out - the sun that has been our ever present friend over the bank holiday weekend has taken a mid-week break, much to our dismay - let's hope it's just a blip! And would you believe it, my rotund recliner up on the rooftop was perched, alone, keeping watch. He did give me a momentary beady eye stare which was quite ominous, don't think he approved of my exercise activities - I think pidgey might have replaced his trainers for cakes, cookies & tid bits. Using his wings even seems to have become a last resort.
Second episode of the Apprentice tonight - fabulous, but it featured some quite cringeworthy moments, more so than normal. They seem paricularly rude & obnoxious, especially as we're only two nights in, but the same astonishing lack of sense is still ever present, so that's fine.
