Gibson Mill

After my grand day out yesterday, I wanted to return to Hardcastle Crags to show Dave and explore the walks there. We walked about 6 miles around the crags, stopping for a lovely cup of Earl Grey tea once we got back to Gibson Mill.

After recharging, I wanted to take this photo, and we ended up having a go at pond dipping (you can just about see some of the other dippers on the left of the shot).

In our net was some sort of water louse, and a water bug nymph creature. - both returned to the wild once we'd had a good look!
