Christmas Comes Early

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

Jefe and Manda kept me company again today. Mainly they wanted to watch the movie Pearl with me, because horror.

So I made another stew with mashed potato for Manda and the day turned out beautiful so I put up the garden umbrella and we got to sit outside and drink while birds chirped all around us.

Princess, you will be happy to hear that they are moving OUT of sh*tty new house on Monday, and have secured a much nicer place for a few months while they figure out their next move. According to them, it's a lovely little house, right by the beach about 30 minutes away from us.

I foresee barbecues.

But my day was to get even better because of this message I got earlier that morning....

SHENÉE: Stoffy I miss you! Want to hang out this weekend?

So I impromptu-added Craig and Shenée to the festivities as well.

Now as you probably know, Shenée LOVES games so I went into our cupboard and pulled out Pictionary which led to a great deal of hilarity. For example, when Craig got the right answer with Jefe having just drawn a SINGLE LINE on his board.

WTF? How did he do that?

"Oh it was easy. I just looked at Manda's drawing instead," he explained.

But Jefe's single line had us all crying with laughter - especially Jefe.

It was also Jefe who came through for the second big laugh of the afternoon when he was drawing frantically for Craig and Shenée.

"A banana?"
"A dildo?"
"A cucumber?"
"A Christmas dildo?"

"IT'S THE EIFFEL F*CKING TOWER!" Jefe exploded when his time ran out. "I mean! Come on!!"

He wrote "Paris" beneath to make it clearer. But we had trouble reading that too.

"Penis?" said Manda.

Afterward, we engaged in a bit of Skip-Bo and then Craig and Shenée left us to watch our horror film. I thought it was okay. It looked beautiful, I admit. And the acting was great but I didn't really care.

Jefe and Manda decided to stay the night. Actually they had no choice. Manda had taken Tramadol for her wisdom-tooth pain and Jefe was hammered. So they are right now sleeping it off upstairs as I write this.

As for me, I foresee a day of naps ahead of me. We didn't get to bed until after 1am which is pretty rock 'n' roll for us these days.

Pictionary and cats and rock and roll. That's us.

S.
