A lot of water

This is actually today's blip, I've caught up.
If you missed some of the past week and would like to see them (from a different part of the country) they start here.
The rain eased off and then stopped, though I don't know what it's doing at present as the curtains are closed.
We were supposed to be going for a walk with some friends from a different church but it was cancelled because of the flooded roads and saturated ground, though we were invited round for soup and had a pleasant couple of hours with a few people.
Before that I had a run round the park in the drizzle and inspected the state of the burn. The floods had receded somewhat though there's still a huge amount of water coming down and one road bridge and some paths were still underwater.
Not much else to report - still in holiday mode!
