AGM

The river is very quiet at the moment as we have had a little rain. I bought my fish in the market first thing but it will have to go into the freezer. I went along to the AGM of the tennis club which was quite positive. I suggested that we have more friendly meet ups with other clubs as, although the junior side of the club is thriving, only a few adults play. The suggestion was well received so maybe next year this side of things will improve. I expected a few aperos as usual but this time one of the members produced a three course sit down meal. As she spent many years on the island of Reunion, the cuisine  was quite interesting. We have eleven visitors from Yorkshire ringing with us this weekend.  We had a pleasant meal together last night and they will join us for practice tonight.
