Arbitrator E

Today E is busy with a tournament for the children of chess clubs in the region. The players are placed in groups of varying strength and experience. The group with the least experience and strength needs the most coaching. You are not only an arbitrator for this group, but also a teacher and coach. Today this group is the group that E is managing. The age of the children is between 6 and 12 years.

Something I noticed was that none of the children from other clubs (who didn't know E already) were surprised by his wheelchair and just saw an arbiter where you could go with your questions. Parents were a little less at ease and afraid that E would not be able to handle this group. But after E started talking and told the children to wave their parents to the door because most of the parents wouldn't understand the rules of chess they are going to learn today, there was laughter and it was clear to everyone that E will manage this group in a good way.

I'm proud of E. He has some sort of sensor to notice when to show his abilities without showing off. And he is a great teacher with a lot of patience and he knows how to give a child confidence. Yeah, I'm a very proud mom...
