The Joy of Insects

It was impossible to avoid sensing the joy this late summer and slightly battered Red Admiral was experiencing in this mornings post-frost sunshine! Utterly relaxed and soaking up the radiance; worshipping the Sun and the comfort of a warm fence. I could really relate, as I sipped my coffee.

I can't expect to garner all the love you had for my pictures yesterday - two days in a row would be greedy! But thank you, everyone. I do love it when the pictures get across the happiness of shooting them.
