Friday Night Delight

This morning Kim and I managed to get some clothes shopping in during school hours. I was in need of some summer shirts.

In the afternoon I took the girls down to the library to get some books. It was a fun walk down. We talked about everything we saw. What should have been a 15 to 20 minute walk took over 40 minutes. We also dropped by Blockbuster to get videos for movie night. We then managed "forget" one of them at the library.

In the evening we pulled together an impromptu get together with some new friends of ours. Their Daughter is a close class mate of Holly's. All the girls had a blast. We hardly saw them the whole time. Bliss! The adults also had a blast. However, we did manage to completely burn our bacon wrapped dates Kim was preparing. So bummed. They were nothing but lumps of char when we realise what the smoke coming out of the kitchen was. One of the drawbacks of having a front porch and good conversation I guess. :)
