Dirty Dry Stop Out!

Yeterday's blip included the lovely furry Jesscat, facing away from the camera... shortly after that photo, the 3 of us headed out for a few hours and I though, aw poor Jess, it's been raining all day and the rain stopped, so out you go and play untilw e come back.

Since that time it has rained constantly and when we arrived back, she was nowhere to be seen (outside, under a car, under a bush etc). I kept an eye out for a good few hours because she would be soaked and hungry, but nothing. Mrs C went out to look for her in the morning.... nowt. We've had this previously with one of our first cats, Vic, who never came back, so our minds were wandering :-(

Our next door neighbour is away for a long time, but has a cat flap that is open. Last night I had shouted through it and Mrs C did today but nothing. Wondering if she had gone in and got stuck, Mrs C contacted the neighbour who advised how to get in without a key (can't tell you), so I went in, checking all rooms, and in the last room after I got up the stairs, she emerged from this chair dry as a bone. Sheesh. So I took her back, out in the rain and got her fed and she wanted out immediately... I was a bit worried she'd decide to move permanently next door, but she came back.

What a lassie!
