Waiting

A photo moment when the sun broke through while we waited for a phone call.  An appointment for Ruth, after which we set off to Birmingham.   Uneventful trip and we have got stuck into some serious sorting, well I was sorting while Ruth was building a fabric wardrobe.   A lot more to do but we have a bit of new energy having made a little progress towards some better support for Ruth here.

Correa 'Marion's Marvel', a gift from friends on my recent trip to Norfolk.  A small shrub of limited hardiness, from Australia.   It can produce flowers at any time of the year but clearly enjoyed our hot summer, the one in my friends garden was covered in flowers.  (Each flower is quite large, around an inch long.)   I'm hopeful it will do well in the mild climate in Wales .... but it'll need shelter from the winter wind.
