The last two blossoms

We had thought that there wouldn’t be much for the volunteers to do today but a delivery of donated gifts arrived and Vic the charity manager was able to spend some cash donations in one of the shops in the centre so we were able to keep them busy most of the day. It’s been a good first week and we’re ahead of where we were last year so that’s good. .

Weather today was atrocious and there’s now some concern that guests for the wedding reception tomorrow who will be travelling from the north east might not make it due to flooded roads and train tracks. It stopped raining as heavily this evening so hopefully they will make it! Guests are dropping like flies due to various reasons but one day we will look back on this and laugh about it!

Got home by 5 and had a cuddle with Phin before tea. Managed to put some clear polish on my finger nails before a nice hot bath.

Blipped my last 2 orchid flowers and just love how delicate they are. Thanks to BikerBear for hosting FlowerFriday.
