Holt Christmas Lights

You know you're getting old when you've had a good night out, listened to a band, had a couple of beers, seen a firework display, and you're still glad you're back home by 7.30pm.  Tonight was the Holt Christmas Lights switch-on night; the town was packed with people and there was a great atmosphere, with cheering when Santa Claus arrived on his sleigh accompanied by what appeared to be one of his elves and two unfeasibly tall angels (I assume), presumably walking on stilts.  Unfortunately they hadn't set up the sound system very well so it was impossible to hear what Santa said on stage but the switch-on and fireworks all went very well.
