Long drive.

An early clear out from the cottage we have been staying in and off to the final radiation today. Then to have bloods checked and see the haematologist who seemed very happy to allow us to go back to the farm! Yeah!
A five and a half hour drive from Johannesburg to Ofcolaco went well, with the air con working overtime as it was hot once out of the city.
Lovely to get here just in time for Dave to go out and feed the game - since we were here last in June a group of whistling ducks have arrived in the croc pond and a hammerkop seems to have made nest in a nearby tree.
The heron was in the water but took off as we arrived. You might just make it out in the bushes on the right.
Lovely to be back and Yvonne is tired but delighted to be home, surrounded by family and her pets.
