Tiny Trio

Orchids on our window sill - thanks to BikerBear, Anni, for hosting Flower Fridays.

Today has been dry and mostly bright. What a contrast to the previous 48 hours' deluge! Yesterday, when we visited our local family, we drove along a flooded road. I was describing it to our daughter, as being like a river. Without a pause, little Miss B, who had seen it too, piped up: "If it keeps raining we can play Pooh sticks across the road!" which was quite a mature and witty observation, I thought. Made us laugh, anyway!

Hoping for dry weather over the next couple of days, when our son, daur-in-law and grandpug are visiting. Have a good weekend, blipmates!
