Time to go?

Young L asked if he could have a birthday dinner tonight while his uncle Tsuken is here from Sydney. It seemed a great idea. We went to the North Shore to a D&D shop  for a present and then a bakery for a cake. Everything sorted, it seemed. I even got out for a run in between all the rain bursts. 

However, Young L had an orthodontist appointment today. The new adjustments have left him with a very painful mouth and teeth. So the dinner has been deferred until tomorrow.

The Mynah was seen opposite the start of Manuka Road.
The extra was taken just after I returned from my jog; of one of the really big Nikau on the section.
