Mitch

When Lisa and I were hiking with Al and Shelley last week in Ohio, we met Mitch and his wife in a parking lot, actually 2 conversations in 2 parking lots. It didn't take long until we found out he is a fisherman. They live in Indiana, and Mitch fishes for crappie.

I told Mitch to send me a picture, and he did. 2 giant crappies that he had caught. I painted the 16 x 20 canvas, and then made the 17 x 9-inch wood piece. I have his address and will send them to him.

 I asked his wife if the crappies were good eating, and she replied..."It's like eating candy." I looked it up on the internet, and it does say that the fish has a sweet taste.

While it does sound like a rather succulent dish...
perhaps I should barter...artwork for fish.
