Behind the scenes

Glorious start to the day, I even got my sunglasses out.  We went first to the set of Outlander which shoots in huge stages on the outskirts of Glasgow.  They might have some space free for any overspill we might have,  which was the pretext of our being there. We weren’t supposed to take photos but I think they won’t mind this one as I masked most of it.  Amazing sequence of studios and stores with props beautifully arranged and costume stores filled with colour.  Made me long to go back to making period dramas.

Then we went and met the very nice people from Creative Scotland, had a bit of lunch and went back to the studios for an afternoon on design.

In the evening producer JC and director JS and I had dinner at a restaurant called Ardnamurchan and then went back to Grand Central for one more look before putting JC on the Sleeper to go back to London.
