Drizzle
I went out with the local path group today - we were all well wrapped up with waterproofs from head to due to the forecast rain which duly rained. We were working on the approach to path up to Craigower, cutting back vegetation to improve lines of sight along the path and to ensure that vegetation doesn't encroach onto the path.
There were about 12 of us all together and it was actually good fun with lots of chat as lopped and sawed. There is also something rewarding about coming together in a common endeavour.
It wasn't all work - we stopped for a break in the middle and enjoyed some homemade cake which the ranger had brought along with the tools. The cake was rather appropriately lemon drizzle cake and very tasty it was.
This afternoon has involved planning one short trip for next year, Gaelic practice (including getting to grips with diphthongs and hiatuses as I seek to improve my pronunciation) as well as catching up with administrative tasks.
