ice is here, snow on the way

We are getting a real blast of winter over the next few days. The temperature dropped, but blue skies prevailed. Now Prospect Lake in downtown Colorado Springs is starting to freeze up, and  a few inches of snow is predicted overnight.
I think we will have our first fire in the fireplace tonight!
