Praying Stone Angel,Churchyard, Headcorn

Today started with yet more heavy rain. In this part of the world we've had more rain this past two and a bit weeks than in the previous three months with more still to come in the next few days.
Luckily, by the time we went for an early morning run it was bit more like a heavy drizzle but it was not the most inviting of conditions. We also had to dodge getting splashed by passing cars as the roads, in places, still had a lot of standing water. Then, after having breakfast, the rain stopped altogether and the sun burst through, which was so welcome. Therefore, we decided to go on a micro trip to Headcorn for a walk around and the chance to try and capture an image. Today's shot is of this very striking stone angel in the churchyard of St.Peter & St.Paul's. After getting a few bits and bobs from the town's supermarket we decided to stop off on the way back at The Plough pub in Langley for swift pint and a packet of crisps each. Not the most action packed of days but still very enjoyable.
