Hanging on

Still some leaves reluctant to leave the white bark Silver Birch. I believe the variety is called Silver Queen.

It has been raining all day and shows no sign of stopping.

A day to carry on with reducing the unused and unwanted possessions which take up so much space in our house.
Clothes not worn for thirty years. Did I really once wear shorts ?
And maps. Although I am a map lover I have no use for road maps of many states of USA and Provinces of Canada which were given to us by Shell petrol stations in our 1964 grand tour.
