Tower Bridge and other things!

I had a lovely day in London today with my chum, Lara. We try to see a really good play together at least once a year!

We met at London Blackfriars Station and first we walked along by the river and through Borough Market before sitting in a little park eating a delicious lunch she had prepared for us. A November picnic!

We were booked to see the play John Gabriel Borkman by Henrik Ibsen, with Simon Russell Beale in the main part. It's on at The Bridge, one of London's newest theatres. It was an amazing performance, he is such a great actor and the rest of the small cast were superb!

Then home on the train having done lots of walking, talking and enjoying a great production.
