Blaven
Team came together over breakfast and we had decided on Blaven as it was the "safest" option in the high winds. Headed off with the brakes still protesting loudly and got round sharpish to the Blaven carpark. Was clear early on that there was going to be no views today but we got the heads soon and marched up the glen. Marched a bit to far and lost the "tourist" path and ended up a bit off piste. Helmets were donned as we tried to pick our way up Blaven's flanks before realising this was a bit dumb and head back down. Spotted the path, had a bite to eat and then head up the path to the summit, getting blown over by "robust" gusts on several occasions.
Summit attained we headed back to the hut, where I put together a trout dinner for 13, all went well and much pish was talked and whisky drunk.
