Cedars Park
Cedars park is in Theobalds Lane Waltham Cross and opposite Cheshunt Football club.
When I had a young son, it was a familiar place but not so much in recent times. They have won a lottery grant to develop the park in the last year or two and a huge amount of work has been done. This includes rescuing historic buildings, archeological digs, tree planting and so on and so on and so on.
I got there too late for the cafe (darnit) but found this dandelion growing out of a wall. Not an unusual sight I know but it made me think about how nature manages to cling on no matter what. This one is doomed because this bit of building is being restored but it might hang on long enough to send it's seeds over the park.
