Ready..

.. for the new season. This is one of  many kiwi fruit orchards we pass on our way to Tauranga.  Kiwifruit  fruit on second year wood.  Each year the new growth is trained up these 'wires'.- separating them from the fruiting partof the vine.  After harvest the vines that have fruited are removed, and the first year runners lowered ready to fruit for the next year.  In the extra you can get an idea of the height of the vines, all above head height
