Dot and the Sleeping Bear

My main images are of 'Dot'. I named her Dot for the large green dot of paint on her back. It seems that Dot is a young bear, probably around four years, who was just a bit too curious/hungry. She walked her 200-300 pound self into the small town of Churchill and apparently refused to leave even after being 'politely' requested to. She was then darted by the town's Bear Patrol and placed into 'Bear Jail', a safe inclosure where the bears are humanely kept for up to one month. They are then taken 'out of town' either by truck or helicopter, having been marked for easy identification. Of the five bears who were released last week, only one is still around. She is no doubt waiting for the ice on Hudson Bay to build up and harden sufficiently for her to walk out onto it and begin hunting for ring seals. These seals are the main part of the Polar Bears' diets. In the *extra...Can you spot the sleeping bear in the top photo? In the second shot he's easier to see. In the third he's changed position and only his eye is peeking out. 
We'll be back in the Rover tomorrow, searching for more creatures.
