Jay-Z

Nah, it's not really, it's an Eurasian Jay (Garrulus glandarius)or Geai des Chênes in French, which literally means Oak Jay.

Today it was hot - very hot and close and it was clear that there would be a storm later due to the abrupt rise in temperatures.

I decided not to go out this morning and wait for the late afternoon - sure enough, it rained, but it was a light rain that almost immediately evaporated as soon as it hit the hot ground.

This picture is a bit of a failure, due to the branch that is in front of the photo, but I'm keeping it as I have tried to get a pic of a jay, for ages - they are quite common, but very elusive.

This evening it is very warm and overcast - we need a good storm to clear the air, the atmosphere is very heavy and oppressive.
