View from the Top

Had to blip the view from the top of the hill…..oddly I felt invigorated today (by this gorgeous bright weather? ) so walked to the top of the steps to Capitol Hill,  something I haven’t quite done for several years (too out of breath, then the D hip etc)   We had to forget the knit caps and go back to baseball hats because the sun has been so bright!   But it’s just beginning an inversion layer, so a bit hazy on the horizon…Needs some rain to clear it up again.  this week.  
Counted the steps on the way going straight down to the lake.  439.  plus some hill without steps..  My watch says 14 stories…  Can you put up with my pleasure to be able to do this what used-to-be-routine walk again?  :-)

We were ready to meet our friends again north for lunch today but now the spouse caught the bug/cough and altho it’s probably not covid, it’s clearly contagious and we don’t want it.   So we’ve postponed again (maybe that was part of the invigoration….unexpected time for more projects?)   We WILL get together this year!
