Skye - Day 1 - Rainy start at Rogie Falls

Very early this morning, I walked to the bus stop where Ton picked me up a couple of minutes later. We drove to Zuidhorn for Herman and then we went to Schiphol Airport for our flight to Inverness. It all went very smooth and right at the scheduled time, we landed at Inverness airport.

It started raining when we were on the way to get the rental car. Unfortunately, this continued for pretty much the rest of the day. However, this did not stop us from making our first photographs at Rogie Falls as planned.

We are now at the hotel in Kyle of Lochalsh. The drive to the hotel in the rain and the dark was a bit challenging, with single track roads and the occasional deer.

We're not on Skye yet, but we will be tomorrow morning!
