Exam Marking

Well the sun was good while it lasted and we are back to wet and miserable. Maybe just as well, as it's exam marking season and today's blip is what 40 packets of scripts looks like...that's about 800 papers, although not all have to be marked. The papers are for Close Reading...that's Comprehension or Interpretation for those of you who went to school when I did.
The paper knife in the picture was bought many years ago in Spain and it comes out annually to slit open the packets before disappearing back into the desk drawer.
