… then there was three. :(
Mr and Mrs Swan have lived on the canal for just three years. This year they had a six little baby swannies. 
Four had flown the nest leaving just mum, dad and two (rather grown up) cygnets.
Our local ‘swan piper’ man had noticed that Mr S was looking a bit unwell, and seemed to be going blind.
The RSPCA have taken him away today and isolated him fearing Avian flu.
Poor Mrs Swan, she must be so sad and lonely. It really is a sad day, :(((
