Red Bush, Red Car

A glorious afternoon walk in the neighborhood; just me and a lot of school kids walking home, yelling and running, as happy as I, to be out on such a day.
But then, when I got home, Eric told me our old, red Ford had been stolen. Stolen! It was parked on the street, and was there this morning, so someone took it in broad daylight.
After talking to the police officer, he said someone would let us know when they find it, that cheered me up: we might get it back! Ha.
The car, a 1993 Ford, was the last car Eric's dad owned, and it was the best car. So easy to drive, great visibility, economical, so reliable. It came in handy to the greater family, too, a car that brothers, nieces and nephews borrowed.
