Ohoo

I sat on the rocks listening to the male eiders making their conversation: Ohoo, ouu, ahoo. The sea was wonderfully calm, the sun was really warm for the first time this spring. As I listened to the eider sounds I started to imitate them. In a moment some scoters (Melanitta fusca) started to swim towards me. They are usually very shy and are not coming very close. I was happy to get a shot of one of them, because they turned around quite quickly and swam away.
