Day off work.

I felt creative and decided to do a bit of linocut printing in the afternoon. From a photo I took in September at Seacliff Beach - turned out alright (green ink in case you were wondering) but there was a bit too too much 'cut' on the 'lino' in places, all part of the process, still a bit of a novice with this technique after all.

Soundtracked by the just-released album from Decius, and Jarvis' 'Chansons D'Ennui' inspired by Wes Anderson's film 'The French Dispatch'. We carried on the Wes theme after tea with a family viewing of 'Grand Budapest Hotel' - the girls chose it, neither had seen it before, I smiled and chuckled from start to finish (again).
