Talk Organising

A windy day, mostly cloudy and low cloud, with some showers this evening.

Up at 5am, and a week of early shifts ahead in the airport. I've mostly been working on the check-in desk all day. There was delays on our London City, due to mist and fog in London. Popped by Laura's on my way home, and also Madeline's. Walkies with Sammy, and then headed out visiting with mam. Early night again.

We headed to see granddad Mitchell's old whaling friend, Gibbie Fraser. He worked with granddad in South Georgia at the whaling, and later did talk on the whaling around Shetland, with the Ex Whalers Association. Gibbie is planning a new talk, and getting me and mam to help out, like we used to do. An evening looking through the old photos, and love hearing the old stories, they never tire me.
