Silly Saturday ...

... restrooms?  Pick any tree!

We had recently learned that the water at Beltsville Lake was so clear that you can see the bottom.  And it was a great place to kayak.

Well ... we didn't do any kayaking today but we did take the short ride up to Beltsville State Park to check it out.  I wish it were sunnier but we still had a nice time.  

We started by walking on one of the many trails before driving to the beach area.  On the way down to the beach we passed this above sign pointing to the restrooms.  The silly thing is you can't actually see the restrooms from the sign ... it looks like you can simply pick a tree, any tree!  Just having a bit of Silly Saturday fun!

From the beach area I took some pictures of the sun as it got lower in the sky ... please see Extra photo.  The sky was so pretty but it wasn't even 3:00 o'clock yet!

We will definitely be putting park on our kayaking bucket list for next year.  But we will have to remember that the summer months get very busy here.
