Incompetent

Not an amazingly interesting blip today, I noticed it yesterday when baking and mentally added it to my "To blip" list.

I've been locked away in my study (A.K.A the kitchen) today trying desperately to get my assignment finished. It's not gone so well so far as I've got the lurgy, my head feels full of cotton wool and I want to curl up in bed and not feel ill anymore. However being in such close proximity to the kitchen appliances all my laundry has been done and vast quantities of kettle beverages have been drunk.

Whilst in this photo it is very obvious that the oven name has been doctored, to the casual passer-by in the kitchen it appears our oven is incompitent. Which it kind of is as the seal has gone and as a result it cooks about 30'c cooler than it should. A friend was round one evening and happened to mention that the cooker said "competence" on it. I'd never noticed it myself but they felt it needed correcting so out came the permenant marker. For some strange reason the oven symbols wore off and need redrawn every few weeks.
