At the Hall

Friends of Forglen Hall are the community group which keep the Hall maintained and improved. There was a Remembrance gathering at the War Memorial there, with soup and tea afterwards in the Hall. A fine excuse to see some of the local people. Extra was taken quickly in bad light, with an open door because people were working in the kitchen and the room where this is on the wall. Remarkably legible still.

The couple are the Lord Lieutenant of Banffshire and his wife, putting knitted poppies back on to the net. His uniform includes a sword, on a proper sword hanger.
