Expectations

I have had other things on my mind today so you get a phone pic of the growing sunflowers at the end of the driveway.  They were grown from seed and as soon as they were transplanted into the compost we made ourselves they were up and growing strongly.  Behind them are potatoes.  You may just see their purple flowers.  Late this afternoon I was watering this garden and a couple stopped to talk. He asked how my brother in law was.  Three years ago they had been together in hospital in the cancer ward.  I could report he is well. This chap looked tanned and fit and just finishing a walk on the hill.
