Aphid

I doubt I've ever taken a photo of a smaller bug . Well, I'm presuming it is an aphid.....it was all alone on a astrantia flower. Much better here.

This afternoon I hosted our Monday afternoon photography group of friends....a cool afternoon, we mucked around with indoor activities;  focus stacking,  macro photography of these, some highkey photography using baking paper taped on the window....I never took one photo, well that is until I was tidying up and spotted this wee guy so grabbed the macro and did half a dozen - only one was nearly sharp where it mattered (the eye). To get the high key background this was taken against the baking paper taped on the window. 

We recorded the All Black v Scotland game and watched it early this morning......our boys came away with a win, but a very dissappointing display, they really aren't up to much at all   *loud and large sigh* .  Full credit to the Scottish I say.
