Armistice Day

Our church was packed for the Service of Remembrance today, the front pews were filled with the village's members of the Scout and Guide movements who did the readings and prayers. We followed the Scouts and Guides in a procession up to the village cross where we continued the service. The weather was very kind to us today.

#1 Daughter had been up for the weekend staying with friends so she met us today for lunch before she headed home. On our way home we called into the studio to have a play with another rose I had bought.
