Late for church

What a difference a day can make.

Earlier today, i found out that my uncle (father’s brother) passed away yesterday from a heart attack. He would have turned 90 on Xmas day. One of the reasons for our trip to France was to catch up with him as his health was declining. We hadn’t seen him since our last pre-covid trip in 2019 but spoke to him and he seemed in good spirits. We were going to meet him and his wife at a restaurant near his chalet this coming weekend… i was not very close to him but still, my small little family has shrunk again…
