Juvenile Goldfinch ....

.... just waiting for the orange feathers round his beak to turn red.
The first visit from the Goldfinches for a number of weeks .... I can hardly expect them to visit when there are no sunflower seeds in the feeder. 

The fat ball feeders have been kept full but the Goldfinches don't seem to like them .... to much hard work I suspect! I did fill up the seed feeders but I expect they will soon be empty again.
