Not guilty

A good, busy day at work today, which flew over - always good for a Friday.

After work Dave decided to treat me to dinner out somewhere. So we wondered over to The Shore to see what we could find. Trying to be spontaneous wasn't working for us - every single restaurant, pub, bar, you name it was jam packed - we shouldn't have expected less on such a lovely sunny evening by The Shore, everyone was out.

Feeling very disheartened we gave up and started walking home with the new plan of getting a takeaway, which didn't seem as good a plan in comparison.

Just around the corner from our flat we decided to try one last place - The Guilt Lily. Yeey! A not-so-busy pub with seats and a menu. Perfect. Food was delicious and to top it off we were treated to live music all night by this guy - Jed Milroy. Very good he was too. Foot tappingly good. We'll look out for him again in the future.
