Step this way

Watched the Service of Remembrance last night, a very poignant evening and so good to see the young of the Falklands saying thank you. Watched the Parade on TV this morning, then popped along to the war memorial in the village  for the laying of the wreaths early this afternoon. A good turnout from all walks of life.

I walked home via the prom…it was a lovely afternoon though it had been cold first thing. Bed stripped and remade…I’m going to put the washer on this evening and hopefully get everything line dried tomorrow. L is now here for her tea, then it’s an evening in front of the TV.

My blip was taken in the village…the front garden of one of a row of houses which has recently been bought and renovated. The front gardens of the whole row look like this. Extra…the war memorial after the wreaths were laid.
