A Patch of Gold……

Although the Taylor River waters have disappeared under their shingle bed from around the Burleigh Bridge area there is some flow, albeit reduced, downstream at a favorite swimming hole. The early sunlight was casting golden light through the willows making for a magical scene.
Early this evening the skies opened and we had a torrential downpour. Luckily it did not last long as surface flooding was likely to become a problem.
